Done!! Brilliant stragery by Bush Admin. Owens, etc., would've gotten shotdown. Although the Admin is pissing off the base by not being overt about sticking it to Dems, its plan was to follow a winning game plan; a stealth candidate. Following the Roberts game-plan, Bush has set the debate in the public arena. Although nominees not answering questions isn't something anybody in the public doesn't like, I do not believe the environment is setup for a down vote. There was a opportunity to frame this Republican Party and it's movement into every aspect of our private lives with the Schiavo event but they've failed on hammering home point in a manner that paints narrative that the public can grasp.
What of the conservative complaints??
Hogwash. There isn't a thing in this administration that isn't scripted, planned and coordinated. How is it that people acknowledge the daily talking points faxes but don't believe this reaction isn't coerced?????
When has the administration every altered it's plan before implementation in the face of opposition and/or disagreement?????

I assure you the people of New Orleans will not accept this. The bodies haven't been recovered, people are still trapped, people are still dying and these scum bags are trying to capitalize on their utter failure. I can not believe what I'm reading these past few days. If progressives want to reform the political landscape and especially the Democractic party then there must a change in the attitudes. What do you think it means when people say, "I don't know what Dems stand for". HELLLOOOOOOOO!!

Yes, bears and wolves are roaming in the woods and are going to get us. So. What is the response of the left? Eagles and Osterichs? I thought the addition of Shrum and Carville was supposed to add some bite to the campaign. Where were the bare knuckle street fighters?
How is it that a party that constantly complains that people don't believe that they are tough on defense won't do anything to take corrective action? Putting up candidates who were war heros doesn't do the job. Look at the right. Majority of them are chicken-hawks but some how their public image is one of strength. Why?
Don't we the liberal left control Hollywood and all those whiz bang gadgets and gizmos that make Arnold millions and millions of dollars? Where is the creativity?
